How often do you find yourself out of balance, pulled off center? It's hard to be a great leader, parent or partner when you are off your mark. Many people try to hold on to center, but it is humanly impossible to do this forever. Even the best masters get pulled by emotions, thoughts and pains in the body. Holding on to center is a nice idea but impossible to do in real life. So what can you do?
The key is to develop the muscle that brings you back to center. Back to center is the idea and we can all work with that every day. The process of coming back, coming home is a sweet idea. Not punishing yourself for falling out of balance but gently bringing yourself back in to "the Zone", where hard work is easy. I really like this idea and as you increase your awareness to your emotional, intellectual and physical centering you can shorten the time when you are stressed. This keeps problems from escalating and helps others around you stay closer to their balance points.
Try it today. When you have the awareness that you are off center, Rebalance to Rebound. Start with the 8 Seconds to Center exercise and you will be amazed at the results.
